Xiaomi is reportedly working on launching a new variant of the Redmi Note 8 Pro in India. The variant will be dubbed the Redmi Note 8T and will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chipset.

It has been quite some time since Redmi launched the Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro in China, and since then Indian users have been tweeting about the Indian launch as well. According to a reply from India Head Manu Kumar Jain on Twitter, he claims that it may time some time about 8 weeks for testing the device and launching it in India, but seeing Xiaomi’s pattern Xiaomi doesn’t take a long time to launch the phones in India after the Radio Frequency (RF) Certification, and here’s a big news regarding the upcoming Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro Indian launch.
Both, the Redmi Note 8 and the Note 8 Pro have passed the RF Test in India along with two unknown devices which are speculated to be the Redmi 8 and the Redmi 8A. This is quite a big news for Redmi Fan’s in India and we may soon expect it to get launched in India. We will soon let you know when Xiaomi schedules the launch event for the Redmi Note 8 and the Note 8 Pro. The Mi A3’s RF Certification appeared on Xiaomi’s website a month before the launch and we guessed it right.
While there has been no confirmation regarding the specifications, whether it will be the same as launched in China or Xiaomi may take the path followed by Realme and change of its specifications. To recall, the Redmi Note 8 and the 8 Pro come with a 6.39-inch FHD+ Display and a 6.59-inch FHD+ Display respectively. The Redmi Note 8 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 Chipset, while the Note 8 Pro is powered by Mediatek’s new Helio G90T, On the camera department both the phones are almost the same but differ in the primary lens as the Note 8 packs a 48MP Primary while the Note 8 Pro comes with a 64MP Primary. Both the phones have the same other three cameras which include a 2MP depth sensor, an 8MP Ultra Wide lens, and a 2MP Macro lens. On the front, they come with a 13MP Shooter and a 20MP Shooter respectively. The Note 8 packs a 4,000mAH Battery while the bigger brother comes with a 4,500mAH battery. Both the phones run on Android 9.0 Pie based on MIUI 10.
Those waiting for the Redmi Note 8 series in India would be happy to see this.
This time, both the standard Note 8 and the Note 8 Pro have received the RF Indian certification.
