Huawei has a lot of stuff going on behind their scenes and especially, they have scheduled an event for Tomorrow in Germany where the company will be launching their new Mate 30 Series and as all phone does, the Mate 30 Series of phones have been leaked completely a day before the launch the specifications look quite interesting and I’m in love with the new design. To begin with, let’s talk about Build and Design, according to the leaks, the Mate 30 and the Mate 30 Pro will come with a gradient glass back which seems to come in multiple colors namely Black, Space Silver, Emerald Green, and the new Cosmic Purple. These gradient backs in the leaked images look quite pleasing to the eye as well. The rear panel houses the camera module in the circular cutout and there’s the Huawei Branding and nothing else.
On the camera department, The Mate 30 Series will come with a quad-camera setup of dual 40MP Sensors (40MP Primary + 40MP Secondary) + an 8MP Thrid Camera + a 3d ToF Sensor on the rear. The leaked booklet also mentions upgraded Night Mode, video Recording at 4K and more. On the performance side, there is no doubt that the Mate 30 Series will come with Huawei’s brand new Kirin 990 Chipset which supports 5G as well. The difference between the Standard Mate 30 and the Mate 30 Pro comes in the Display department, the Standard version will come with a Flat OLED display while the Mate 30 Pro will come with a Curved Panel.
The Mate 30 will ship with a massive 4,200 mAh battery with support for 40W fast wired charging and 27W fast wireless charging, On the other hand, the Mate 30 Pro will ship with a battery capacity of 4,500mAh. Both the phones will run on Huawei’s latest EMUI 10 with AOSP and will not have any Google Apps pre-installed. These phones will be launched by tomorrow and we will be one of the first to cover it up so stay tuned to AndroidUpdated!
