Spotify can now be used to share music in Facebook Stories

In the Social Network universe, Stories have become more and more important, being the feature that more updates and features have received. After adding support to Spotify music to Instagram Stories, now it’s time for Facebook to receive the same feature.

Spotify have announced via Twitter that, from now on you will be able to give new life to your Facebook Stories, adding music clips straight from your Spotify account.

How can you share Spotify music on Facebook Stories

As it happened with the rest of the social networks that support Spotify, it is very simple and practical to share Spotify music clips on your Facebook Stories. To do that, you just need to press the “share” button on any Spotify song and select Facebook from the list presented to you.

After, you will get to choose if you want to share the clip on your Facebook Feed or your Facebook Stories.  It is really simple the way this feature works, but it’s still unclear if it will receive some extra customization in the near future.

Spotify arrived on Facebook Stories, but in a very limited way

Since last year, Spotify is available for Instagram Stories, but works in a much interactive and interesting way. Not only you can share music clips easily on your Stories, but you can add music clips to your stories.

Seems like a pretty small detail, but being able to add a music clip from Spotify to your Stories, makes them come to life. So far, doesn’t look like the feature will be available on Facebook Stories, at least for now.

For now, this feature will be mainly useful to artists, that now get a new tool to help share their work with millions of followers in a more dynamic way. Let’s see how long it takes until they add the feature that lets us add music clips to more personal Facebook Stories.
