Vivo recently launched the Vivo Z5 smartphone in China. Soon, we will get to see the Vivo Z7 and the Vivo Z9 as the company has filed the trademark for the same.
As of now, nothing much is known about both the devices, but our source has claimed that the Vivo Z9 could feature a quad rear camera setup and the possibility of the primary sensor being a 64MP unit is there as well.
Other than the cameras of the devices, we are sure to see an AMOLED display in both the Vivo Z7 and Vivo Z9. Furthermore, there will be an in-display fingerprint scanner as well.
As far as the SoC is concerned, we can expect the Vivo Z9 to run on the SD730 chipset. This, however, is not confirmed as of now.
Coming to the Vivo Z5, we get the following specifications with the device.
Vivo Z5 – Full specifications
Starting things off with the display, the Vivo Z5 sports a 6.38-inch FHD+ display giving out a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a waterdrop notch at the top. The display is Super AMOLED and sports an in-display fingerprint scanner.
At the back, we get a triple rear camera setup (48MP + 8MP + 2MP) and a 32MP front camera is embedded underneath the waterdrop notch.
Under the hood, the Vivo Z5 is powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 chipset which is accompanied by 6GB/8GB of RAM. Furthermore, a big 4,500mAh battery fuels the device. The battery supports 22.5W fast charging as well as reverse powershare in order to give some juice to some other smartphone if required.
As far as the OS is concerned, the Vivo Z5 runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box with Funtouch OS 9.1 on top of it.
As far as the global launch is concerned, there is no official word from the company yet, but we are sure to receive further intel on the same in the coming days.
