Vivo is reportedly working on launching a new mid-range Android smartphone dubbed the Vivo Y3. If the recent report from India Shoppsis to be believed, the device will cost somewhere around $200.
As far as the specifications go, the Vivo Y3 is rumored to sport a 6.35-inch HD+ display giving out a 1544×720 pixels resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. There will be a waterdrop notch at the top of the display which will house a rather standard 8MP selfie snapper. The device will measure 159.43 x 76.77 x 8.92 mm and weigh in at 190.5g.
As of now, two color variants of the device have got confirmed – Peach Powder and Peacock Blue.
Speaking of cameras, we are going to get a triple rear camera setup (13MP + 8MP + 2MP). This could very well be the prime highlight of the device.
Furthermore, we can see a physical fingerprint scanner at the back.
Under the hood, the Vivo Y3 will be powered with a Helio P35 chipset which will be coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage with scope for further expansion with the help of an external SD card.
The battery of the device is also going to be one of the prime highlights as we will reportedly get a 5000 mAh battery coming up with the Vivo Y3. Sadly enough, we won’t get a USB Type-C charging port with the device as Vivo has chosen to stick to a dated USB 2.0 port instead.
