After a long wait, the Red Magic 3 gaming smartphone is finally official. The device is a flagship for a lot of reasons, the price not being one of them.
Speaking of price, let’s begin things with the prices only. There are four memory variants of the Nubia Red Magic 3.
CNY2,899 ($430/€385) for the 6GB/64 GB version
CNY3,199 ($475/€425) for the 6GB/128GB version
CNY3,499 ($520/€470) for the 8GB/128GB version
CNY4,299 ($640/€575) for the 12GB/256GB version
Coming back to the specifications of the device, there is no aspect wherein the Nubia Red Magic 3 disappoints. The device has it all.
Starting things off with the display, we get a 6.65-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90 Hz refresh rate and 240 Hz touch refresh rate. We get a more traditional looking front as there is no notch game this time around.
To make gaming all the way more immersive, we get stereo speakers and customizable vibrations.
The back is all typical. We get those fancy LED strips and a design which won’t be too comfortable when in a pocket.
Speaking of the back, we get a single 48MP IMX586 f/1.7 sensor which is capable of 8K video recording, 960 fps slow-mo recording, and up to 1920 fps video shooting.
Coming to the gaming capabilities of the device, the Red Magic 3 comes with a second-generation ICE liquid cooling and an actual fan. Under the hood, we get the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 flagship chipset (obviously).
Moving on to the batter, we get a beefy 5000mAh battery with 27W fast-charging.
