Lenovo will launch the Lenovo z6 Pro on April 23. So far, we have got plenty of intel on the device, but the latest post shared by the company VP, Chang Cheng has made things all the way more interesting.
Cheng has shared a bunch of camera shots taken from the Lenovo Z6 Pro and if the images are indeed taken from the device (and not by a DSLR, duh), there is certainly a big reason as to why you need to be interested in the device.
Just have a look at the photos and judge by yourself.
Lenovo Z6 Pro camera shots
Looking at the images, it is clear that we are going to get a monster of a smartphone. Once again, we won’t trust Cheng as of now as he is kind of famous for faking news, but the future of the Z6 Pro looks promising if it’s not all lies.
The pre-orders of the device have already begun. Today, the company has posted the official image of the rear of the device which depicts a quad rear camera arrangement.
One of the rear cameras will be a 48MP unit. This confuses everything as the earlier rumors suggested a 100MP camera coming up with the device. Nevertheless, we will get to know everything pretty soon as the launch date is not too far away.
We already know that the device is going to pack in a bunch of amazing features including a whopping 12GB of RAM and a 100MP (alleged) primary camera.
Adding on to that, the device will most certainly be powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset. This, however, is no more a rumor as the company has made it official via the Chinese microblogging website Weibo.
Qualcomm has already hinted that we would get 100MP cameras in smartphones somewhere this year, but we did not expect the news to come from Lenovo (watch out Samsung and Huawei).
Will the Lenovo Z6 Pro actually feature a 100MP camera?
To be honest, this news must be taken with due precaution as Cheng has had a reputation of exaggerating and overhyping (who can forget the Lenovo Z5 fiasco). There might be a possibility of an on-paper specs bump using software tweaks.
Nevertheless, having a 100MP camera (howsoever it turns out to be) is pretty impressive in itself.
The prime highlight of the device is going to be a HyperVision camera. Furthermore, the device will feature 5G, making it the company’s first smartphone to have 5G support.
While addressing the audience, a Lenovo representative gave us an idea of the upcoming plans of the company. As per the announcement, Lenovo is all geared up to launch the Lenovo Z6 Pro which will be the company’s first smartphone to have 5G support.
Not only that, but the device will also sport a new HyperVision camera which will be capable of recording Hyper Videos, a concept which is still not implemented practically in the world of Android smartphones.
Under the hood, the Lenovo Z6 Pro will be powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset which will be coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage with scope for further expansion with the help of an external SD card.
As of now, little is known about the device, but we are sure to receive further intel on the same in the coming days as the launch date approaches.
