The company has recently filed the patent for the same. The patent shows around 9 color variants (in the form of render images) of the device.

Halfway through 2018, Guangdong Oppo Mobile Telecommunications filed a design patent with the Global Design Database of WIPO (World Intellectual Property Office). The patent was published on 9 April 2019 and not only shows a series of sketches, but also nine color images of a future Oppo telephone. This is a budget smartphone.
The front shows an almost image-filling screen with a small drop-shaped notch. Oppo has had eight notch variants recorded, which, incidentally, differ minimally from each other. Color images of only one model are shown, and this appears to be the final design.
On the back, we see a double camera with a flash. Immediately below there is room for a fingerprint scanner. We see two buttons on the left, and a physical button on the right. The microphone is placed on top. Furthermore, the bottom offers space for a connection to charge the device. Also, a 3.5mm headphone connection is not missing on this model.
The dual camera is placed vertically apart. If we look at the current Oppo smartphone line-up, then we see a horizontal camera placed with the budget models from the A-series. Consider the Oppo AX7, launched earlier this year. Models can be found within the midrange R and F series where the cameras are placed vertically apart. However, these mobile phones already have a triple camera. The patented model does not seem to belong in an existing Oppo series.
Earlier this month, the Oppo PCAM10 / PCAT10 was certified by the Chinese inspection body TENAA. This will probably be the Oppo Reno Lite, which is expected later this month. The inspection documents also included some photos of the telephone, this model shows many similarities with the patent that LetsGoDigital is discussing today. The only difference I can notice is the shape of the flash. This is somewhat oval in the patent, while the previously leaked photos show a round flash.
Chances are that we are looking at a Reno model here. At the end of last month, Oppo registered five trademarks for its future telephone models. The names are Oppo Reno Pro, Plus, Zoom, Lite, and Youth. These devices will probably not all be introduced simultaneously, but we expect two models in any case.
Oppo Nederland has already announced that it will soon also be possible to buy the new smartphone series in the Netherlands. Nothing is known about the price for the time being, but the CEO has announced via Chinese social media that ‘she doesn’t want to disappoint her customers’. We, therefore, hope for competitive pricing.
