The upcoming Samsung Galaxy M40 has recently got the Wi-Fi Alliance certification which has revealed some of the specifications.
The device has the model number SM-M405F/DSwhich makes it clear that it is indeed the Galaxy M30. The full specifications of the device are not fully known as of now, but we can confirm Android 9 Pie out of the box with OneUI on top of it. Furthermore, we will definitely see a dual SIM variant (notice the “DS” in the model number).
Under the hood, the Galaxy M40 will most likely rely on an Exynos 7904 chipset just like the Galaxy M30 which will be coupled with around 6GB of RAM.
A 5000mAh battery (or something of that sorts) will most likely make its return.
Moving on to the cameras of the device, the Galaxy M40 will presumably feature a triple rear camera (13MP + 5MP + 5MP).
As of now, this is all we know about the device, but we are sure to receive further intel on the same in the coming days.
