Yesterday, we got to know that Oppo is going to launch a new sub-brand dubbed Oppo Renoon April 10. The first device of the brand has now popped up on the internet as a live shot of the device in an Aurora Green color has recently been seen on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo.
The image is allegedly official, but nothing can be said for sure as of now.
The specifications of the device are not clear as of now, but taking into consideration the fact that Oppo is going to launch a new smartphone in the month of April, it could very well be the first Reno smartphone.
Shen has further revealed that the upcoming device will be powered with the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset which will be coupled with 8GB of RAM.
Furthermore, we will get a 10x optical zoom coming up with the device (have a look at the whopping camera setup at the back). As there is no fingerprint scanner at the back, we can expect the Oppo Reno to feature an under-display fingerprint scanner.
At the battery front, we will get a 4,065mAh battery with super-fast VOOC charging with a USB Type-C charging port (and a 3.5mm headphone jack is here to stay, thankfully).
As of now, this is all we know about the device, but we are sure to receive further intel on the same in the coming days.
