huawei y7 2019 live shots

Huawei has quietly unveiled yet another budget Android smartphone dubbed the Huawei Y7 (2019). The price of the device is kept at around $250.

The device is almost the same when compared with the previously launched Huawei Y7 Pro (2019) with some minor changes here and there. For starters, the selfie camera is slightly downgraded.

Starting things off with the display, the Huawei Y7 (2019) features a 6.26-inch LCD HD+ with waterdrop notch and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

Under the hood, the device is powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor which is coupled with 3GB of RAM and of 32GB of internal storage which can further be expanded with the help of an external SD card.

Moving on to the camera of the device, the features a dual camera setup at the back (13MP + 2MP) and an 8MP selfie snapper.

A large 4,000mAh battery fuels the device, but the presence of a standard USB 2.0 is absolutely hurting. There is no support for quick charging too.

Moving on to the OS, the device runs on Android 9 Pie with EMUI 8.2 on top of it.

Meizu Note 9 debuts with a 48MP camera and an impressive price tag

Published

on

Meizu note 9 wallpapers download free

The Meizu Note 9 was in the news for a considerable amount of time. The company has finally made it official and the price point it is being offered at makes it a special device. Why? Here’s why…

For starters, we get a 48MP primary camera at the back. There is a Snapdragon 675 chipset powering the device. Then, there is a big 4,000 mAh battery juicing the things up. All in all, the Meizu Note 9 is a complete package at an unbelievable price.

Meizu Note 9: Price

The device is available in three price variants – CNY1,398 ($210) for the 4GB/64GB variant, CNY1,598 ($240) for the 6GB/64GB variant, and CNY1,598 ($240) for the 4GB/128GB variant.

Sadly enough, we don’t get an expandable storage option with the device, so one would have to compromise either on the RAM or the internal storage if the latter two price options are the concern.

Meizu Note 9: Full specifications

Display 6.3-inch IPS LCD
Notch Yes, waterdrop
Processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 675
RAM 4GB/6GB
Internal storage 64GB/128GB
Expandable storage Yes, up to 512GB
Primary camera Dual (48MP, f/1.7 + 5MP depth sensor)
Front camera 20MP
Battery 4,000 mAh
Fast charging Yes, 18W
OS Android 9 Pie out of the box with Flyme 7.2 on top
Fingerprint scanner Yes, rear-mounted
Color variants Black, Blue, White
Other features Hyper Gaming and Game Mode 3.0

Looking at the specifications of the device, it is almost shocking to see the company being able to pull off everything in just this small a price pacakge. The Meizu Note 9 can easily challenge the Redmi Note 7 (even the Redmi Note 7 Pro) for the throne of the best budget Android smartphone.

Realme 3 Pro to arrive in April, may come with Snapdragon 670/675

Published

on

realme 3 pro full specifications

The Realme 3 was recently introduced and, honestly speaking, does not have much to offer which would impress us. The device still runs on a Helio P70 chipset and is not a substantial upgrade over the Realme 2 Pro by any means.

Turns out that the company has much better in store for us with the likes of the upcoming Realme 3 Pro.

The Realme 3 Pro will be launched somewhere in the month of April and will reportedly feature better specifications (which is kind of obvious) especially in terms of the processor to be used and the cameras.

As per Madhav Sheth, CEO of Realme India, the Realme 3 Pro will be both a camera beast and a speed racer as well. This could very well mean that the Realme 3 Pro might feature a 48MP primary camera (pretty much every company has tried to use a 48MP sensor in their budget segment smartphones lately, take the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro for an example).

Starting things off with the display, we are going to get a waterdrop notch coming up with the Realme 3 Pro as well.

Under the hood, the device will be powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670/675 chipset which will reportedly be coupled with up to 6GB of RAM.

A massive 4,230 mAh battery is going to fuel the device. As far as the OS is concerned, the Realme 3 Pro will come with Android 9 Pie out of the box.

There will be a rear mounted fingerprint scanner (though an under-display fingerprint scanner was rumored to make its way to the Realme 3 Pro, we don’t expect the company to raise the price of the device too much, so this is most probably not going to happen) and a dual camera setup at the back. One, however, would be able to unlock the device using the facial unlock mechanism too.

As of now, this is all we know about the device, but we will definitely be getting further intel on the same soon as the launch date is not too far away from now.
