Back in the month of October last year, Facebook announced that it will soon roll out a dark mode natively to the Facebook Messenger. The developers, however, have still not pushed the dark mode officially.
As it turns out, Facebook is providing us with a fun way to enable the Dark Mode in Facebook Messenger.
How to enable Dark Mode in Facebook Messenger?
All you need to do to enable the dark mode is this:
Open any chat
Send a crescent moon emoji to the friend
The moment you do that, you will be prompted to toggle the dark mode via a pop-up (A text saying “You Found Dark Mode!” will display on the screen)
Below the text, you will see a button which will take you to the settings menu (Turn on in settings)
Though, it is still in beta and you will be informed of the same as the app will display a message saying it’s still working on this feature so you won’t see Dark Mode everywhere in Messenger.
As of now, it is rather unclear as to how many countries the features has got rolled out to so far, but you can always give it a try as it is fun.
