The prime thing worth noticing is the fact that the Pro variant of the Redmi Note 7 will have a Sony IMX586 sensor for the 48MP camera unit (the standard variant has a Samsung GM1 sensor).
Under the hood, the device is powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset which is coupled with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage with a scope of further expansion with the help of an external SD card.
At the back, we get a dual camera setup (48MP + 13MP) and a fingerprint scanner at the usual middle position. One would, however, be able to unlock the device with the help of its facial unlock mechanism. At the front, we get a 25MP selfie snapper.
Moving on to the OS, the Redmi Note 7 Pro runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box.
A big 4,000 mAh battery fuels the device which is capable of quick charge 4.0 and a USB Type-C charging port makes its way to the budget segment of Android for a change.
