The last year’s Samsung Galaxy S9 lineup of smartphones was criticized for being mere incremental upgrades over their predecessors even after the fact that they had incorporated one of the best smartphone camera lenses in the year 2018. Samsung appears to have taken this very seriously and the Samsung Galaxy S10 lineup will have all that it takes to woo us.

Essential Phone 2

Essential Phone, Android creator Andy Rubin’s dream child, brought about a drastic change in the world of Android owing to the fact that it featured a dewdrop notch at the time (2017) when even 18:9 aspect ratio smartphones used to be just the flagships.

It’s rather unfortunate to see such a product failing due to financial losses and lack of consumer interest.

Thankfully enough, the company is not planning on giving up on the Essential lineup of smartphones as of now as the Essential Phone 2 is already on its way.

If the fresh bunch of reports has to be believed, the Essential Phone 2 will be a substantial improvement over its predecessor and will feature an under-display camera as well as an under-display fingerprint scanner.

Xperia XZ4

The upcoming Xperia XZ4 will allegedly feature an unusual 21:9 cinemawide display and will be powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset and 8GB RAM.

The report has come to Android Updated courtesy of Letsgodigital.

On 4 February 2019, Sony Mobile Communications filed a trademark with the EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office) for the CinemaWide name. The trademark is classified as Class 9 with the description; ‘smartphones, tablets, displays, application software for smartphones, image processing apparatus, exposed cinematographic films.’

The application was submitted by lawyer Müller Fottner from Munich, who acted on behalf of Sony Mobile Communications. This German company has in the past more often applied for brand names for Sony.

Samsung Galaxy F foldable smartphone

We have noticed a number of noteworthy differences between the foldable smartphone model that can be seen in the teaser video and the mobile device that was shown last November at the Samsung Developer Conference. The smartphone housing was a dummy case at the time, so you could only see the flexible display and not the design of the phone itself. LetsGoDigital has already had 3D renders designed for this device last year.

Oppo Find Z

After the success the Oppo Find X witnessed last year, Oppo is all geared up to launch the second generation of the lineup. Contrary to the earlier belief that the device will be dubbed the Oppo Find X2, a new report from Letsgodigital suggests that the device will be dubbed the Oppo Find Z.

While the world on Android is all caught up talking about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10 flagship lineup of smartphones, it appears that the company is all geared up to launch the Samsung Galaxy A90 pretty soon.

If the recent tweet by Ice Universe is to be believed, the device will be Samsung’s first smartphone to feature a pop-up selfie snapper.

Huawei Mate foldable smartphone

Huawei has released information about its future smartphone models over time. In October 2017, Richard Yu, the CEO of Huawei’s Consumer Business Group, reported for the first time that Huawei has a folding phone in development.

In addition, the company already had a working prototype of a two-screen device, Richard Yu added. There was only a small gap between them that needed to be fixed.

LG G8 ThinQ

LG will unveil the upcoming LG G8 ThinQ during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019. The device will allegedly feature a 3,400 mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy M30

Samsung has turned a lot of heads with the likes of the recently launched Samsung Galaxy M10 and Samsung Galaxy M20 budget smartphones. The company is now all set to launch the Samsung Galaxy M30 which will be a slightly better and upgraded variant in the lineup.

The most noticeable feature will be the triple rear camera setup which will make the Galaxy M30 one of the very few smartphones in the market to have such a feat, that too at such a low price.
