Meizuis going to launch the Meizu Note 8on October 25. Right ahead of the launch, the company’s Senior Vice-President Li Nan has shared a bunch of camera samples taken from an unnamed Meizu device and has asked the fans to guess as to which device it is.
As far as the specifications of the device are concerned, the TENAA listing of the Meizu Note 8 has already confirmed that the device will sport a 6-inch FHD+ LCD display giving out a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and an 18:9 aspect ratio. There will not be any notch at the top this time around. The device will measure 153.64 x 75.56 x 7.95mm and will weigh in at 168 grams.
Under the hood, the Meizu Note 8 will be powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.8 GHz. The processor will be coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which will have a scope of further expansion with the help of an external SD card.
Moving to the cameras of the device, the Meizu Note 8 will sport a dual camera setup at the back (12MP + 5MP) and an 8MP selfie shooter. There will be a physical fingerprint scanner at the back, but users will also be able to unlock the device using the facial unlock mechanism.
As far as the OS is concerned, we are going to get the Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. A 3,500 mAh battery will keep the lights of the device on. There will be a scope of quick charging the device.
As of now, there is no word on the official pricing of the device.
