LGis reportedly working to launch the upcoming LG V40 ThinQpretty soon. Recently, a new bunch of live shots of the device has appeared on the internet which reveals the design language, specifications, and some of the key features.
Starting things off with the display, the LG V40 ThinQ sports a notched display (though the notch is not clearly visible and takes a lot of attention to get noticed). The display is going to be a Quad HD+ unit. At the bottom, there is a pretty small chin which looks incredible. LG has pulled off a good looking device here for sure.
Moving to the cameras which are the prime highlight of the LG V40 ThinQ, we are going to get a triple camera setup at the back (a primary unit + a wide aperture lens + a telephoto lens), the resolution of which is not revealed as of now. At the front, we are going to get a dual camera setup.
Unlike the earlier flagships by the company, the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner is not going to double as the power button and we are going to get a dedicated power button on the right side of the device. On the left, we find the dedicated Google Assistant button along with the volume rocker.
At the bottom, we get a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C charging port.
Under the hood, we are going to get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which can further be expanded with the help of an external SD card.
The device is reportedly going to be launched come November 16.
