Samsung is reportedly going to launch a new smartphone in the market. The device dubbed the Samsung Galaxy J7 Aerohas recently appeared on the Geekbench database. The model number which shows up on the database is SM-J737V.
The mid-range smartphone is going to be the successor to the already launched Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018)which was launched a couple of months ago.
As per the Geekbench database, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Aero is going to be powered by the mid-range Exynos 7885 chipset coupled with 2GB of RAM.
As far as the OS is concerned, the device will run on Android 8.0.0 Oreo with Samsung Experience UI on top of it.
The device scores 1172 on single-core performance sheet and 4053 on multi-core.
As far as the name is concerned, the famous tipster Evan Blass had revealed a couple of months ago that the device with the model number SM-J737V will be dubbed the Samsung Galaxy J7 Aero.
In terms of the design, the Galaxy J7 Aero will fall in line with the Galaxy J7 (2018) and will reportedly sport a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with an HD resolution. There will be a single camera at the back and the front camera will feature an LED flash. The resolution of the cameras, however, is still not known.
The fingerprint scanner will sit on the chin of the device just like the rest of the mid-range smartphones by Samsung.
As of now, there is no word on the price and the release date of the device. That said, we can expect it to release in the coming months.
