The upcoming Meizu flagship lineup of smartphones, the Meizu 16and the Meizu 16 Plusare going to be launched in the month of August. The lineup is going to going to be the best-ever smartphone by Meizu as per the recent claims by the company.
Today, a new leaked image posted on Twitter shows off the displays of both the devices.
As per the image, the Meizu 16 Plus will sport the anticipated under-display fingerprint scanner and the chin of the device will be much thinner when compared with the standard Meizu 16. Given that the Meizu 16 Plus is going to have the in-screen scanner onboard, we are sure to receive an OLED display coming up with the device.
We can see a USB Type-C charging port as well as the speaker grille at the bottom of both the devices. The antenna lines are located at the bottom.
Coming back to the front of the device, though the device will have pretty narrow bezels, Meizu has still refrained from using a notch at the top. Both the Meizu 16 and the Meizu 16 Plus will feature an 18:9 aspect ratio.
As per the previous reports, the Meizu 16 will be launched in two different processor variants – one with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset and the other on a slightly modest and recently launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset. There will, of course, be different names for the two variants which are still not revealed.
The one running on the SD845 SoC will indeed be the more powerful variant out of the two and will feature 8GB of RAM and an under-display fingerprint scanner, much like the recently launched Vivo NEX and the Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition.
