The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10 lineup has recently got certified by a Brazilian Telecom Agency. The report has come up courtesy of Nashville Chatter which suggests that there are three variants of the lineup which have received the certification from Anatel.

The certified devices have the model numbers EB-BG970ABU, EB-BG973ABU, and EB-BG975ABU which clearly map to Samsung Galaxy S10, Samsung Galaxy S10+, and Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite.

As per the report, the devices in the lineup will feature 3,000 mAh, 3,300 mAh, and 4,000 mAh of batteries, respectively.

We already know that the top variant of the lineup, the Samsung Galaxy S10+ is going to be available in a whopping 12GB RAM and 1TB internal storage option. Now, a new source has once again confirmed this intel suggesting that it has come from a Samsung representative.

Another news suggests that the 5G variant of the Samsung Galaxy S10 will be dubbed the Samsung Galaxy S10 X.

The report has come up courtesy of the Korean publication ETNewsAs per the report, the X stands for 10, Experience, and Expand.

Unlike the other variants of the S10 lineup, the Galaxy S10 X will be launched somewhere in the month of March and will carry a price tag of somewhere around $1,425 – $1,600.

While the cheaper Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite or the Samsung Galaxy S10 E as we know now is going to sport just 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage (expandable), the pricier variants in the lineup will be better in terms of the memory.

The Samsung Galaxy S10+ will feature 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB of internal storage.

The 5GB variant of the Galaxy S10 will come in three memory configurations:

  • 8GB/256GB
  • 8GB/512GB
  • 12GB/1TB

It is important to point out that these are still not confirmed specifications, so one might as well take the news with a pinch of salt. That said, if the report indeed turns out to be legitimate, we are finally going to see a radical improvement. Remember the time when Samsung was mocked by Huawei for bringing mere incremental improvements with its flagship lineup of smartphones?
