Xiaomi is reportedly working on launching the second installment of the famous Poco lineup of smartphones. The second generation Xiaomi Poco F2 has recently popped up on the internet courtesy of the Geekbench database and Trending Leaks.
Xiaomi Poco F2: Geekbench scores and leaked specifications
It is not sure as to whether or not the render is genuine, but it is the only source available as of now, so we can give it a go.
Looking at the front, we can see that the Poco F2 will get rid of the wide notch found on the earlier Poco F1 and will replace it with a waterdrop notch which makes sense. We certainly can not expect an under-display camera, but if it makes its way to the Poco F2, we won’t be surprised. The chin is fairly minimal just like the previous iteration.
At the back, we see a familiar arrangement with a dual camera setup and a physical fingerprint scanner.
Moving on to the specifications of the device, let’s take a look at the Geekbench scores to start things off.
The device scored 2321 in single-core test and 7564 in multi-core test.
- Single-core score: 2321
- Multi-core score: 7564
- Android 9.0 Pie
- 1.77 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset
- 6GB of RAM
- 128GB of internal storage (more storage variants will definitely be available alongside)
- Dual rear cameras (13MP + 13MP)
- Facial unlock mechanism
- 3,730 mAh battery with Quick charge
As of now, there is no word on the official price, specifications, and the release date of the device, but we can expect it to be unveiled sometime during the month of February.
