Xiaomi is reportedly working on launching its first-ever Android Go smartphone soon and it will be dubbed the Xiaomi Redmi Go. As per the latest report, the device has got certification in Singapore which certainly means that we will soon start getting more intel on the device.
Finally, the company will add its first smartphone to the list of the other smartphone manufacturers who have already launched their Android Go smartphones.
The device in the discussion here has the model number M1903C3GG and has received the certification from Singapore’s Info-communications Media Development Authority (IMDA).
Xiaomi Redmi Go: Full specifications
If reports are to be believed, the Xiaomi Redmi Go will sport a 5.9-inch HD+ display giving out a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and an 18:9 aspect ratio.
Under the hood, the device will be powered with an octa-core MediaTek chipset which will be coupled with 1GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage with a scope of further expansion with the help of an external SD card.
Moving on to the cameras of the device, we will get single cameras on both sides of the device which doesn’t come as a surprise as the Redmi Go will be an Android Go powered smartphone which is meant to serve the basic needs at a budget-friendly price tag.
As far as the OS is concerned, we will definitely be seeing Android Pie (Go Edition) out of the box with regular updates.
Moving on to the price of the device, the Xiaomi Redmi Go will sell for a budget price tag of under $100 for sure, but the exact pricing is not known as of now.
