Asus is reportedly working on launching the Asus Zenfone Max M2 smartphone pretty soon. The device has recently appeared on the Geekbench database which reveals some of its specifications.
The device scored 1,253 in single-core test and 4,827 in multi-core test. As per the Geekbench listing, the Zenfone Max M2 will run on Android 8.1.0 Oreo. Under the hood, we are going to get a 1.8GHZ octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage which will have a scope of further expansion with the help of an external SD card.
As far as the display is concerned, the Asus Zenfone Max M2 will sport a 6-inch FHD+ notched display which will house the device’s front camera.
While the Pro variant of the Max M2 lineup is rumored to sport a triple camera setup, the standard Zenfone Max M2 will sport a dual camera setup (13MP + 2MP) instead and a 13MP front camera.
There will be a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner (as per the source), but one will also be able to unlock the device using its facial unlock mechanism.
