Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) will soon launch in India for INR 39,900

Samsung is reportedly going to launch the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) in India pretty soon. The device which is famous for being the world’s first smartphone with a quad-camera setup will be kept at an asking price of INR 39,000.

As per the source code taken from the company’s official Indian website, the 6GB/128GB variant of the device will soon be launched in India.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) has the following cameras:

  • An 8MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.4 aperture and 120 degrees field of view
  • A 10MP telephoto camera with f/2.4 aperture and 2X optical zoom
  • A 24MP main camera with f/1.7 aperture
  • A 5MP camera for depth sensing with f/2.2 aperture and live focus

At the front, we get a 24MP selfie snapper with f/2.0 aperture. Moving on to the display, the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) sports a 6.3-inch display giving out a resolution of 1,080 x 2,220 pixels and an 18:9 aspect ratio.

Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core processor (4x 2.2GHz + 4x 1.8GHz) coupled with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which can further be expanded by up to 512GB with the help of an external SD card.

Moving to the OS, the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with Samsung’s Experience UI on top of it.

As far as the battery is concerned, the device has a big 3,800 mAh battery with support for quick charging. There is a physical fingerprint scanner at the rear of the device.
