After the success the recently unveiled Samsung Galaxy Watch has seen, Samsung is reportedly working on launching its first-ever hybrid smartwatch. As per the reports, the company has already filed a patent for the Samsung Hybrid smartwatch.
You can change the time by long pressing on the screen of the smartwatch and fixing the hands of the watch. In case you do it accidentally, there is a provision for undoing the action by turning the crown backwards.
If you want to set an alarm, you can do it the old-fashioned way by pulling the crown. The time of the analogue can automatically be synchronized with the digital watch from the settings menu.
On top of the smartwatch features, the Samsung Hybrid smartwatch will also have an analog watch mode which will save the battery to a great extent.
Furthermore, the patent describes the possible integration of a digital camera. This would be placed on the top of the watch case, with an illumination sensor next to it.
As of now, there is no word on the price and the release date of the watch, but it is tipped to be launched somewhere in mid 2019.
