Huawei is reportedly working on launching the Huawei Y9 (2019) pretty soon. The device has recently appeared on TENAA certification which reveals the specifications and features.
Huawei Y9 (2019): Full specifications revealed by TENAA
Starting things off with the display, the Huawei Y9 (2019) sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ display giving out a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. There is a notch at the top of the display which houses a dual front camera. The device is available in four color variants – Black, Pink, Blue, and Purple. The volume rocker and the power button are on the right side of the device whereas the SIM tray is on the left.
There is a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Furthermore, you can unlock the device using the facial unlock mechanism as well.
Under the hood, we get a 2.2GHz Kirin 710 chipset coupled with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage which can further be expanded with the help of an external SD card.
Moving on to the cameras of the device, the Huawei Y9 (2019) sports a dual camera setup both at the front. At the back, we get a 20MP + 2MP configuration whereas, at the front, there is a 16 MP + 2MP selfie snapper.
As far as the battery is concerned, we get a big 3,900 mAh battery with support for quick charging.
Coming to the OS, the Huawei Y9 (2019) is going to run on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
As of now, there is no word on the price and the release date of the device. That said, since it has already appeared on the TENAA listing, we can safely assume that we will get further intel on the same pretty soon.
