Samsung is reportedly working on launching its first-ever smartphone with a triple rear camera setup. We got to know about the same a couple of months ago. We also got to know that the device will belong to the Samsung Galaxy A series of smartphones.
Finally, we have got some solid evidence suggesting that the first device to sport the triple camera setup is going to be the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018).
The news has come up courtesy of a couple of live shots of the device’s render images which suggest the design language of the device as well.
As seen in the images, there is indeed a triple camera setup at the back with the LED flash sitting right underneath the camera module. There is no fingerprint scanner on the rear which could either mean that the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) will entirely rely on the facial unlock mechanism or there would be a side-mounted fingerprint scanner which is not shown over here.
The chances of the Galaxy A7 sporting an under-display fingerprint scanner are pretty minute as Samsung will most likely save it for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10.
The power button and the volume rocker are on the right side of the device while the SIM tray is on the left. There is no side of the Bixby button, though.
As of now, there is no word on the price and the release date of the device. That said, as the previous reports have pointed out, we can expect the Galaxy A7 to be launched in the month of September.
