We all are excited to see the Razer Phone 2, a phone whose predecessor started the trend of gaming smartphones in the world of Android. Recently, a new comparison image of the Razer Phone 2 with the Razer Phone has popped up on the internet which brings about a shocking revelation.
If you were expecting a big design overhaul (which we were expecting too), you are in for a moment of disappointment.
No, this is not the same phone with two different wallpapers. The device on the left is the Razer Phone while the one on the right is indeed the upcoming Razer Phone 2. As a matter of fact, the side bezels found on the Razer Phone 2 appear to be somewhat larger than the predecessor which is kind of a bummer.
The device is apparently following the same brick design and there is nothing too fancy here. Whether the fact that the company wants to keep things the way they were is a good thing or not is a matter of choice.
As far as the specifications of the Razer Phone 2 are concerned, the Razer Phone 2 is going to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset (contrary to the earlier belief that the device will sport a Snapdragon 855 chipset) coupled with 8GB of RAM.
The display of the device will have a 1440 x 2560 pixels QHD resolution a standard 16:9 aspect ratio.
As of now, there is no word on the price of the device, but given the approaching launch date, we can expect to hear further intel on the same pretty soon.
