The developers of Instagram are working on rolling out a new feature to the app. As per the reports, Instagram is testing a recommended posts feature which would suggest you to show posts from the accounts you have not followed in your feed.
A little while ago, a new all caught up feature was introduced to the app which is now going to be slightly modified. After the update, the app will give you the option to either continue checking out the older posts from the people you follow or see posts from accounts you’re not following.
Instagram for Android has recently got a new update. After the update (V18.104.22.168.83), the app will let you know when you are caught up with all the posts from the last two days whenever you are scrolling your timeline. When you are totally up to date, the app will show you a notification which would read “You’re all caught up”.
As per the Instagram’s official blog, this new feature will help you stay updated.
As per Instagram, “it wants to make Feed the best place to share and connect with the people and interests that matter most to you.” Well, maybe the company could have done it better by letting us stop those ever-annoying product-based posts that are probably not that relevant and not that needed.
Nevertheless, the update is now live and chances are likely that you might have already received it. If you haven’t, you can download the latest Instagram build from the Google Play Store.
