Vivo is reportedly going to launch the Vivo X23 on August 20. The launch date has come as a surprise as we do not know much about the device yet and Vivo itself has not done any sort of promotion for the device whatsoever. As the leaked specifications suggest, the Vivo X23 is going to be a premium smartphone and it is highly unlikely that the company would unveil it without creating at least a little bit of hype. Take the upcoming Vivo V11 Pro for an example. The company has already sent out promotional posters for the launch which is scheduled for September 6.
Nevertheless, a bunch of new live shots of the device which reveal its entire front and rear. The images we received a couple of days ago were not that clear, to be honest, and luckily, the new ones are way more informative about the design language of the device.
If the images indeed turn out to be legit, the Vivo X23 is going to sport an almost bezel-less display as there is a tiny “water drop” style notch at the top which makes room enough to accommodate the front camera. The chin is almost negligible and if this is the case, we are certainly going to get an eye-pleasing device.
At the back, we can see a shiny surface which reflects the light to give a very impressive look. There is indeed a dual camera setup at the back which is vertically aligned at the top left with a dual-tone LED flash sitting right underneath it.
Furthermore, we can see that there is no physical fingerprint scanner at the back which solidifies the rumor that the Vivo X23 will sport an under-display fingerprint scanner.
