Vivo is reportedly working on launching a new premium smartphone dubbed the Vivo V11 Pro. The company has already sent out the promotional poster for the launch date. As per the poster, the Vivo V11 Pro will be launched on September 6.
One can clearly notice the fingerprint in the image which points out to the fact that the Vivo V11 Pro will feature an under-display fingerprint scanner. Though the invite card does not reveal much about the device, luckily most of its specifications have already got leaked courtesy of various sources.
Starting things off with the display, the Vivo V11 Pro will sport a 6.41-inch Super AMOLED display giving out a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. There is indeed a notch at the top of the display, but it is confined just to the device’s front camera. Notch haters will certainly like this new trend as it is way less obtrusive.
Under the hood, we will get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset coupled with an ample 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage along with a scope of further expansion with the help of an external SD card.
Moving to the cameras of the device, we will get a dual camera setup at the back (12MP+5MP) which is vertically aligned at the top left. The LED flash sits underneath the camera module. At the front, we get a 25MP selfie snapper which has AI capabilities like AI scene detection and AI beauty mode.
A generous 3,400 mAh battery will fuel the device. There is, however, no word as to whether or not the Vivo V11 Pro will sport fast charging.
Coming to the OS, the Vivo V11 Pro will run on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
As of now, there is no word on the price of the device, but we can certainly expect it to cost somewhere around the $450 mark.
