Sony is soon going to launch a new smartphone dubbed the Sony Xperia XZ3. The device will fall into the flagship Android smartphones category and will carry a pretty hefty price tag.
As the previous generation Xperia XZ2 Premium was introduced at a whopping $999 price, we can certainly expect the Xperia XZ3 to have a similar price.
Recently, a new image has been leaked on the internet which suggests that the device will sport a dual camera setup at the rear as well as at the front.
If the report comes out to be true, the Xperia XZ3 will be the first smartphone by the company to feature a dual camera setup on both the sides.
As per the sources, the device will be unveiled in the month of September in the IFA 2018 which is going to be held in Berlin.
The Xperia XZ3 is speculated to feature a glass back and it will have IP65/68 certification meaning that it will be dust and waterproof. Again, this is nothing new as most of the Sony flagships offer the same feature.
As far as the specifications go, the device is tipped to sport a 5.7-inch FHD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. We can expect the processor to be the current flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset coupled with at least 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
As of now, there is no word on the price and the release date of the device. That said, if it is going to be launched in September, we can certainly expect to receive further intel on the same pretty soon.
