Motorola has launched the Moto E5 and the Moto E5 Plus in India

Motorola has finally launched the much-awaited Moto E5 and Moto E5 Plus in India. Both the devices are entry-level Android smartphones offering amazing specifications at the price point they are being offered at.

Both the devices are available on Amazon and the Moto Hub stores in case you want to purchase them offline.

While the Moto E5 is kept at an asking price of INR 9,999 which roughly translates to around $145, the Moto E5 Plus carries a price tag of INR 11,999 or around $175.

Starting things off with the Moto E5 Plus, the battery is the device’s prime USP. The Moto E5 Plus comes with a gigantic 5,000 mAh battery with support for quick charging which, according to Motorola, would provide for 6 hours of usage with just 15 minutes of charging time.



Coming to the display, the Moto E5 Plus has a 6-inch IPS LCD display giving out a resolution of 720 x 1,440 pixels. The display features the company’s proprietary Moto Display for at-a-glance info and quick replies to notifications.

Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can further be expanded up to 128GB with the help of an external SD card.

Coming to the camera, the device sports a 12MP primary camera with a f/2.0 aperture and phase detection autofocus. There is an 8MP selfie snapper with an LED flash.

The Moto E5, on the other hand, features a slightly smaller display. We get a 5.7-inch display and a slightly smaller, yet substantial 4,000 mAh battery.

Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage with a scope to expand it with an external SD card.



The camera configurations are the same as the Moto E5 Plus. We get a 13MP shooter at the back and a lower resolution (5MP) selfie at the front with an LED flash.
