The upcoming ZTE flagship, the ZTE Nubia Z18 has been into the news for a long time now and is one of the most anticipated devices as of late. The company is all geared up to launch the device pretty soon. An official release date, however, has still not been confirmed.
The device has recently appeared on the Geekbench database, thereby revealing some of its specifications.
The listing shows a new ZTE device with the model number NX606J which is none other than the Nubia Z18 itself.
As per the listing, the Nubia Z18 would run on Android 8.1.0 Oreo out of the box. Under the hood, we are going to get an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset clocked at 1.77 GHz and coupled with 6GB of RAM. The internal storage is being predicted to be kept at 64GB which will have a scope of further expansion with the help of an external SD card.
Coming to the Geekbench scores, the ZTE Nubia Z18 scored a respectable 2,344 points in the single-core test and 8,933 in the multi-core test.
The device has already received the CMIIT certification meaning that a launch is nearby.
The top and the bottom bezels are almost negligible and so are the side bezels. The device looks absolutely stunning at least from the front. The device is tipped to 5.99-inch FHD+ display with ultra-narrow bezels. The screen-to-body ratio expected to go beyond 90%.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Nubia Z18 is expected to sport a dual camera setup at the back (24MP + 8MP) and an 8MP selfie snapper.
As of now, there is no word on the release date and the official pricing of the device.
