Both the Huawei Nova 3 and the Huawei Talkband B5 are going to be unveiled at the Shenzhen Universiade Stadium in China on July 18. Though the venue for the Talkband B5 launch is not officially revealed, it is highly unlikely that the company would choose a different venue for the same.
Coming to the features of the device, the Talkband B5 is going to sport a similar monochrome screen like the one found on the previous generation Talkband B3. There will be an in-ear Bluetooth headset which can easily be ejected for taking calls.
Comparing the screen of the device with the previous generation Talkband, we can clearly see a larger OLED panel this time around with much larger fonts.
As of now, we have received a live shot of two color variants of the device – Gold and Silver. While the Gold color variant of the Talkband B5 will feature a leather strap, the Silver variant appears to sport a metallic band and looks more premium and sturdy.
On top of the potential calling benefits the Talkband B5 is going to provide, it would act as a regular fitness tracker and would have the regular features like a heart rate monitor, sleep tracker, calorie counter, hydration reminder, sleep tracker, and more.
As of now, there is no word on the official pricing and the specifications of the device. That said, we can certainly expect it to carry a price tag of somewhere around $25.
