Xiaomi is soon going to launch the third generation of its Xiaomi Mi Max series of smartphones. The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has recently appeared on the 3C certification.
A new smartphone with the model number M1807E8S has popped up on the internet which is predicted to be the Xiaomi Mi Max 3.
As per the certification, the Mi Max 3 will have support for 5V / 3A, 9V / 2A, and 12V / 1.5A meaning that the device will come equipped with 18W fast charging.
As per the recently leaked firmware files, the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will be the first smartphone in the lineup to sport an 18:9 aspect ratio display. The device is also tipped to feature wireless charging. There won’t be a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Furthermore, the Mi Max 3 is reportedly going to feature a dual camera setup at the back with one of the sensors being the Sony IMX363, the same module used in the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s as well.
Coming to the rest of the specifications, XDA Developers leaked some of the key specs of the device through its firmware files which include a bezel-less display, a 5,500 mAh battery, and the processor of the device.
Talking about the history of the Mi Max lineup, the original Xiaomi Mi Max featured a 4,850 mAh battery which was increased to 5,300 mAh in the second-generation Mi Max 2. This time, the company has decided to increase it furthermore.
Coming to the processor, the Mi Max 3 is going to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset. However, by looking at the trend the company has followed with this lineup, it is likely that the device will be launched in different processor variants.
