The Nokia X6 is going to be launched on May 16. We have got plenty of intel on the device over the past couple of weeks. Yesterday, the device was spotted on Geekbench database listing which revealed some of its key specifications.
As per the listing, the Nokia 6 will run on an octa-core Snapdragon 636 processor clocked at 1.61GHz. It will be coupled with 6GB of RAM and will run on Android 8.1.0 Oreo.
The device scored a decent 1332 in the single-core test and 4892 points in the multi-core test. These figures fall in line with the rest of the Android smartphones powered by the SD636.
Now, we have received a bunch of live shots of the device which leave nothing to the imagination. The images arrive as part of a couple of press renders which reveal almost all the specifications and features of the device.
As per the images, the Nokia X6 will run on a near-stock Android 8.1 Oreo. Powering the device is going to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage which can further be expanded with the help of an external SD card.
As far as the display is concerned, the device will sport a 5.8-inch FHD+ display giving out a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and a 19:9 aspect ratio with a notch at the top. The notch houses the front camera as well as an earpiece and a proximity sensor.
As far as the dimensions are concerned, the device measures 147.2 x 70.98 x 7.99 millimeters and weighs in at 151 grams.
Coming to the camera of the device, the Nokia X6 will feature a dual camera setup at the back (16MP + 5MP) and a 16MP selfie snapper. Both the front and the rear cameras are going to pack in AI capabilities. The front camera of the device comes with an intelligent 3D blur and beauty filters.
Coming to the battery of the device, the Nokia X6 will house a significant 3,060 mAh battery which will have support for 18W Quick Charge 3.0 rapid charging meaning that you can charge the device with up to 50% of juice in a matter of 30 minutes.
The device will start receiving reservations at 3:30 PM (local time) in China on May 16 while the actual sales will start from May 22.
As far as the price is concerned, the 4GB/32GB variant will cost you around 1,499 Yuan that translates to around $235 whereas the 6GB/64GB variant would fetch you a bit more (around $250).
