Honor 7C: The device is coming to India come May 22

The Honor 7C was recently launched in China. Now, the device is making its way to India. Honor India has already sent out press invites for a launch event which is going to take place come May 22 where the company will unveil the Honor 7C in the country.

Though the press invite poster does not clearly mention that the device which is going to be launched is the Honor 7C, the design of the smartphone which is being teased is similar to the Honor 7C, meaning that it is more than probable that it is the same device.

The Honor 7C packs in some decent specifications at an insane price. Coming to the specifications of the device, the Honor 7C packs in a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core chipset (1.8GHz) and an Adreno 506 GPU, coupled with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage which can further be expanded with the help of an external SD card.

At the display front, the Honor 7C features a 5.99-inch TFT LCD IPS HD+ display giving out a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9.

Moving on to the cameras of the device, the device features a dual camera setup at the back (A 13MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor). There is an 8MP front camera for selfies.



The fingerprint scanner lies at the rear of the device, though there is a scope of unlocking the device using the front camera for facial recognition.

Fueling the Honor 7C is a 3,000 mAh battery which is capable of quick charging.



As far as the OS is concerned, the Honor 7C runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with the company’s proprietary EMUI 8.0 on top of it.

Coming to the price of the device, the 3GB/32GB variant is priced at 899 Yuan (~$142) while the 4GB/64GB one has a price tag of 1,299 Yuan (~$205).
