Meizu M8c and Meizu M8c Lite
Meizu is soon going to launch the Meizu M8c lineup of smartphones. The lineup will consist of two devices – Meizu M8c and Meizu M8c Lite. Both the devices are going to be entry-level smartphones with the latter one running on Android Go.
The devices have recently got certified by FCC, thereby revealing some of the specifications.
Lenovo is reportedly working on launching a new Android smartphone with the highest screen-to-body ratio ever. The company recently revealed that the device is going to be called the Lenovo Z5. Reports further claim that the Lenovo Z5 could incorporate an on-screen fingerprint scanner.
Huawei P20 Aurora
Huawei launched the Huawei P20 lineup of smartphones a couple of months ago. Up until now, only the flagship P20 Pro was available in the Aurora gradient variant. Now, the company has pushed the flashing color to the lower variant of the P20 lineup as well.
Though the original Huawei P20 is available in a variety of storage options, the Huawei P20 Aurora is only available in the 6GB/128GB storage variant.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the Huawei P20 sports a 5.8-inch FHD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and a notch at the top.
Powering the device is a Kirin 970 AI chipset coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There is a dual rear camera at the back (20MP + 12MP) and a 24MP front camera.
Samsung Galaxy A Star
Samsung is soon going to launch a new smartphone dubbed the Samsung Galaxy A Star. The Galaxy A Star has recently got Bluetooth certification from the Bluetooth SIG.
Though the certification did not reveal much of the specifications of the device, the previous rumors and leaks suggest that the Samsung Galaxy A Star (earlier rumored to be launched as the Galaxy A8 Star, which has now been proven wrong by the Bluetooth certification) will sport a 6.28-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ Infinity display giving out a resolution of 1,080 x 2,220 pixels.
Xiaomi Redmi S2
Xiaomi recently revealed that it is working on launching a new S series of smartphones which will belong to the budget segment of the Android market. The Xiaomi Redmi S2 is the first device under the lineup.
The Redmi S2 is going to be a camera-centric smartphone. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset coupled with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage which can further be expanded with the help of an external SD card. There is a 3080 mAh battery fueling the device which is capable of quick charging.
Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+ Burgundy Red edition
Samsung has recently introduced a new Burgundy Red variant of the current flagship Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+ and clearly, the new color looks amazing. Other than the color, the rest of the specifications of both the devices remain the same.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Lite
The Lite version of the last year’s Samsung flagship, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Lite is going to be launched come May 21.
A recent report from TENAA confirmed the fact that Samsung has been working on the Lite variant of the device for long now and the device has been certified from TENAA as well which revealed some of its specifications.
Coming to the specifications of the device, the Galaxy S8 Lite is going to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can further be expanded with the help of an external SD card.
Moving to the display, the device is going to pack in a 5.8-inch FHD+ infinity display which is a tad bit smaller than its original counterpart. The device will be fueled with a 3,000 mAh battery capable of quick charging.
Sharp Aquos R2
Sharp has unveiled its latest smartphone dubbed the Sharp Aquos R2. The device offers amazing specifications. Starting off, the Sharp Aquos R2 comes equipped with a 6-inch WQHD+ display giving out a resolution of 1440 x 3040 pixels and a 19:9 aspect ratio. The device is dust and waterproof and is IPX5, IPX8 and IP6X certified. The chin of the device houses the fingerprint scanner which doubles as the home button. Coming to the dimensions, the Sharp Aquos R2 measures 156 x 74 x 9mm and weighs in at 181 grams.
Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can further be expanded with the help of an external SD card.
Coming to the OS, the device runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. There is a 3,130 mAh battery with support for quick charging.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S art special edition
Xiaomi has launched an all-new variant of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S. The company has worked with the British Museum to design the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S Art Special edition. The special edition of the device shares its design language with the original variant.
You would find the familiar ceramic back this time around as well. The difference lies in a specially designed protective case and some exclusive themes and UI elements from the Renaissance period.
