Google Photos for Android has recently got a new update. Google announced the new update in the Google I/O 2018 along with the other updates.
The latest update (V3.19) brings a ton of improvements and bug fixes. The most substantial one is the suggested actions.
After the update, whenever you open up an image in the app, the app would provide you with automated suggestions such as controlling the brightness, sharing the image across your social media, deleting/archiving an image, and options to rotate the image.
The app’s AI feature will predict as to which feature would be shown to a particular image. They will only be shown on relevant photos meaning that some of your images might not get any suggestions whatsoever.
Adding to the automated suggestions feature, the company has also pushed a new feature which takes image editing within the app to a whole new level. The image editing feature would let you play with pops of color. The feature essentially takes pictures and lets you make the background Black and White while retaining the color of the subject in focus intact.
Both the features work on the Google’s recent AI initiative. The processed images will be saved in the Assistant tab of Google Photos.
The update has already started rolling out to the Android devices. To get the update, you can head to the Google Play Store or you can get it directly from the button below:
