The Samsung Galaxy Note X is one of the most talked-about smartphones of the modern times. We have received a plethora of leaks and rumors about the device and everyone is still in dark as to when the device is going to be launched.
A recent report from South Korea suggests that the foldable smartphone from Samsung will be made official in February at next year’s Mobile World Congress which is going to be held in Barcelona.
According to a South Korean news outlet The Bell, Samsung has asked its parts suppliers to begin supplying the parts for the Samsung Galaxy Note X. The report further confirms that the device is going to be launched early next year (though it was supposedly going to be launched in 2018), which could most possibly be the MWC 2019.
The company has already filed another patent for the device which shows off as to how the device will look like.
Just like the earlier patents, the new design also comes with a physical keyboard integrated. When folded, the device will turn into a dedicated smartphone and you can use it as a tablet after unfolding it.
The rear of the Note X will act as a secondary display which would show the notifications. Though the patent is new, it appears like Samsung has been working on this one for a long time now owing to the fact that the images still show off the old TouchWiz icons on the display (if you pay attention to the image below, you’d see the old famous not-so-good-looking TouchWiz icons at the bottom of the dock).
Furthermore, the next Galaxy S flagship device, the Samsung Galaxy S10 is also rumored to be launched in the month of January 2019. However, this seems highly unlikely that the company will launch two of the most awaited smartphones in one month which makes the claim of the report suggesting that the Samsung Galaxy S10 will be launched in the Consumer Electronics Show 2019 all the way more legit.
As of now, these are early days to confirm these reports. That said, this is certainly a start of a new world of leaks, rumors, and reports for both of these devices and we are going to get a lot of them in the coming months.
