Xiaomi Redmi S2
Xiaomi recently announced a new series of smartphones. The first-ever smartphone under the new S series is going to be the Xiaomi Redmi S2.
The Xiaomi Redmi S2 is going to be launched come May 10. The device features some impressive specifications and is going to be priced well under $180.
The device is being touted as a selfie-centric smartphone, with rumors suggesting a 16MP selfie snapper at the front and a dual camera setup (12MP + 5MP) at the back.
Coming to the rest of the specifications, the Xiaomi Redmi S2 is going to sport a 5.99-inch IPS HD+ display giving out a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and an 18:9 aspect ratio. Powering the device is going to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can further be expanded with the help of an external SD card.
Nokia X6 (2018)
HMD Global is going to announce a new Nokia smartphone. The device, dubbed the Nokia X6, is going to be launched on May 16. Coming to the specifications of the device, the Nokia X6 will sport a bezel-less screen with a notch at the top. There will be a dual camera setup at the back.
The device will be launched in two variants – one running on a Helio P60 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM and one powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 unit with 6GB of RAM.
The upcoming HTC flagship, the HTC U12+ is going to be launched on May 23. The company made the release date official by posting a teaser image on its Twitter handle recently.
The HTC U12+ is going to feature dual cameras on both sides. There will be a 12 MP + 16 MP UltraPixel camera setup at the back with f/1.5 aperture and an 8 MP + 8 MP setup at the front. Both of the camera setups will have support for Optical Image Stabilization and will feature AI capabilities.
Coming to the rest of the specifications, the HTC U12+ is reportedly going to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Of course, the internal storage can be expanded, but you would have to compromise on one SIM card for that.
Asus Zenfone Live L1
Asus recently unveiled an entry-level smartphone dubbed the Asus Zenfone Live L1. The device sports a 5.5-inch bezel-less IPS LCD panel giving out a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels.
Coming to the processor being used in the device, the Zenfone Live L1 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset coupled with 1GB/2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can further be expanded up to 2TB with the help of an external SD card. Thankfully, the Zenfone Live L1 has a dedicated SD card slot meaning that you will be able to use two SIM cards and an SD card at the same time.
Samsung Galaxy A6 and Samsung Galaxy A6 Plus
Samsung is going to launch the Samsung Galaxy A6 lineup of smartphones which includes the Samsung Galaxy A6 and the Samsung Galaxy A6 Plus. Both the devices offer top-notch specifications and if you are a fan of Samsung devices, these are worth waiting for.
