The upcoming LG smartphone, the LG V40 is going to be codenamed Storm. The report has come from the hands of the most reliable tipster, Evan Blass.
Blass, in one of his tweets, revealed the code name for the upcoming LG V40. While there is nothing much to talk about the phone as of now as these are still early days for even talking about it, any news about it is worth a mention.
LG V40 is codenamed Storm.
Sadly, Blass did not share any other information on the device. That said, we can safely assume that the phone will carry the latest ThinQ tag and is going to be one of the three flagships which are going to be launched by the company over a coming couple of months.
As earlier reports have suggested that a V35 ThinQ is already in the making, it is almost guaranteed that the LG V40 is not going to be the successor to the LG V30S ThinQ lineup of smartphones. Therefore, the device is more likely to be unveiled somewhere in the month of November or December.
For now, the LG G7 ThinQ is going to be launched come May 3. Post that, we are going to get the LG V35 ThinQ. Hence, we are going to see a lot of LG in the coming days.
