The Samsung Galaxy S9 lineup has seen a lot of success as of late, owing to a great performance and a well-tested design language.
Recently, a new special edition of the S9 family has been unveiled. The Samsung Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9 Plus Red Bull Ring edition has been introduced to the market as a limited edition.
Starting off, the device will come packed in a branded box which proudly mentions the Red Bull Ring and you would get a special Red Bull Ring case packaged inside the box along with, of course, the device itself.
The case is not just another protective case. It has an NFC chip that would trigger a change in the theme of the device. The moment you put the case on, the theme on your Galaxy S9/S9+ will automatically switch to a special Red Bull theme which features high-quality icons and wallpapers of the F1 cars.
On top of that, the special edition devices are going to come pre-loaded with the information of each track and cars. You would also get to enjoy free clippings of the Ziggo Sport Formula 1 Cafe and exclusive race images. So, if you are a fan of the racing, you are in for a treat.
As of now, only the Dutch Vodafone network appears to be offering the Red Bull Ring edition of the Galaxy S9 family. The sales have started already and would last until April 27.
Other than the customized theme and the UI, the rest of the specifications of the device are the same. While the Galaxy S9 has a 5.8-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED infinity display, the Galaxy S9+ has a bigger 6.8-inch one with the same resolution. Both the displays are capable enough of providing you with an ultra-immersive gaming experience.
Powering the devices is an Exynos 9810 or Snapdragon 845 (depending on the region you are living in), coupled with 6GB/8GB of RAM, good enough to justify any gaming load thrown at them.
