The upcoming Xiaomi smartphone, the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has recently got some specifications and features leaked.

XDA Developers leaked some of the key specs of the device through its firmware files which include a bezel-less display, a 5,500 mAh battery, and the processor of the device.

Talking about the history of the Mi Max lineup, the original Xiaomi Mi Max featured a 4,850 mAh battery which was increased to 5,300 mAh in the second-generation Mi Max 2. This time, the company has decided to increase it furthermore.

Coming to the processor, the Mi Max 3 is going to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset. However, by looking at the trend the company has followed with this lineup, it is likely that the device will be launched in different processor variants.

Moving to the display, the device is tipped to be featuring an 18:9 aspect ratio bezel-less display. This will be the first-ever Mi Max device to be sporting a bezel-less screen. As of now, there are no words about the resolution of the device. That said, we can safely assume it to be an FHD+ one. There is no news about the size of the device as well. Again, it won’t be less than 6-inch at the very least as the size has always been the key highlight of this lineup (Max is the new big, remember?).

Furthermore, rumors claim that the Mi Max 3 will have support for wireless charging. This thought got solidified ever since the members of the forum revealed a snippet of the source code of the MIUI Keyguard APK that contains a warning prompts like “wireless charging has stopped”, “position offset” and “please reposition.”
