Snapchat for Android Updated: Added group video chat options

Snapchat for Android has recently got an update. After the update, you will be able to do video chats with your groups.

The update has been rolled out globally and you must already have received the update on the Google Play Store.

In order to use the group video chat feature, all you need to do is to start a new group chat or open up an existing one and locate the Red video camera icon just above the keyboard (the color of the icon can be changed as per your desire).

After you click on the button, all the members of the group will be notified of the video chat and they can join in. Note that the feature is limited to a maximum of 16 participants as of now.

If you pay attention to the cover image of the article, you would notice that all the members of the group video chat can use their own set of filters on their feed. This is a totally new and a pretty cool concept and there is no reason as to why it may turn out to be the next big thing in the various chat apps available. It is more than likely that Instagram would soon follow suit.
