SwiftKey 7.0: added a new toolbar and editable stickers
SwiftKey has recently announced the latest update to its keyboard. The latest SwiftKey update (v7.0) brings in a lot of updated features to the already amazing SwiftKey Keyboard.
According to the company, this is the biggest update since it was bought by Microsoft in 2016. The prime highlights of the SwiftKey 7.0 are the addition of a new toolbar and editable stickers to the keyboard. On top of that, the keyboard is soon going to get support for calendar sharing and location sharing pretty soon. This, however, would be a feature exclusive to the US and India only.
The new toolbar which is being introduced with the SwiftKey 7.0 will replace the hub that used to exist in the previous version of the keyboard and is said to provide the users with an easy access to all the SwiftKey Keyboard features.
The second major upgrade, the ability to add custom text to the stickers is something worth noticing here. This would add an extra bit of fun to the way we send stickers to the people we chat with.
As seen in the video, the latest version of SwiftKey aims at providing the users with Speed, Ease, and Expression. This essentially means that the company is focusing on providing the users with a platform to communicate with the people by using things more than just words. After the update, if you type a particular phrase, the keyboard will automatically predict the mood of the text and provide you with suggested stickers. You can add your custom text on the sticker and send it post that.
You can also add the stickers you have made to your collections in case you want to use them again. On top of that, there is a provision to add your own images and use them as stickers.
Calendar sharing and location sharing, too, are soon going to be introduced in the SwiftKey 7.0 using which you can send your agenda as well as your location to the person you are talking to.
