How to Play YouTube in the background?

Finding it hard to play youtube in the background? Not anymore now.

Yes, as we all know, YouTube is a platform for online streaming. So, some people find it difficult to stream videos in the background.

Well, as we focus on simple and portable techniques, here we come again on this most searched issue.

First of all, download Google Chrome from the Google Play Store. Make sure that notifications are enabled for Chrome under general app settings.

How to use YouTube in background

In the search bar, type the content you want to stream. After clicking that particular video, you can find the 3 dots in the upper right corner of chrome tab. Click that and go to  “Desktop Site” and make sure that checkbox turns to blue tick.

With this, a desktop website will open for the same video to be streamed.

Now you are good to go. Play the video and press home button. Note that the video will stop first but, if you pull your screen down, you will find 3 default music buttons. Click play and you are good to go. With this, you can play YouTube even with the locked screen.
