The Rose Pink Edition of the S8 looks stunning
Samsung is always known for bringing a revolution in the Android ecosystem. The company started 2017 with the bezel-less Samsung Galaxy S8 and, though, it was not the first device to have this feature, it certainly started the trend which became the selling point for Android smartphones for the year.
Now, the company has decided to feast the users with an all-new Rose Pink variant of the Samsung Galaxy S8. The device is available for grabs in the UK as of now but one can most certainly wait for the device to be arriving in their countries as well.
Previously, the S8 was available in Midnight Black, Orchid Gray, Coral Blue, and Arctic Silver variants and the fact that the company has launched this variant solidifies the theory that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9 will have a plethora of color options even more.
Just to let you know, the rose pink color was earlier available in Taiwan and South Korea only and now the company has decided to make it global, owing to the fact that the color got extremely popular in those countries.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Rose Pink Edition: A Plan To Increase The Sales?
Everything said and done, is this a marketing strategy to ensure a last big sale of the S8? I mean, the device is an extremely popular one in the Android world and there is no denying this fact. But, it’s already 2019 now and it’s the time of the Samsung Galaxy S9. So, will the people actually be interested in investing their money on the Galaxy S8 just for the sake of the fact that it is available in a new color? They might as well wait for a month or two and get their hands on the latest flagship rather than the flagship of the last year.
Samsung Galaxy S9: Everything you need to know
Hence, in a way, the company is trying to make a final attempt to sell the S8 to as many people as it can before it becomes old. Not a bad strategy at all, if it works out.
Another thing to notice here is that the upcoming Galaxy S9 is not going to be a major upgrade over its predecessor. So, there might be a target audience waiting for the new device to be launched so that the S8 sees a price cut. Well, that is up to the future and the buyers to decide. Meanwhile, the Rose Pink edition just shines.
