Billion has launched a new smartphone named the Billion Capture Plus which will target photography enthusiasts.
The company is fairly new in the Android market and you, most certainly, must not have heard of the company ever. This is one factor which could hurt the sales of the Billion Capture Plus.
That being said, the device boasts of some pretty good features at the price range it is being introduced at.
So, is the Billion Capture Plus any good? How well does it stand up against its competition? Let’s get to know everything about the Capture Plus in the full review at Android Updated.
Billion Capture Plus: Full Smartphone Specifications
Cameras are the main highlight of the Billion Capture Plus. The smartphone features a dual camera setup at the back. There is a 13MP RGB sensor and a 13MP monochrome sensor both with a f/2.0 aperture.
In addition to this, one gets a dual-tone LED flash and PDAF. How well does the camera actually performs is yet to be tested.
Coming to the battery, the Billion Capture Plus has a 3500 mAh battery which, surprisingly, supports Quick charging. The device would give you 7 hours of battery juice with 15 minutes of charging as claimed by the company. One more interesting thing worth mentioning about this device is the fact that it makes use of a USB Type-C port for charging, something worth bragging at this price point.
At the inside, the Billion Capture Plus packs in a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Octa-Core Chipset coupled with 3GB/4GB of RAM. Supporting the processor is an Adreno 506 GPU. Clearly, the device is going to be a decent performer and one can expect a smooth gaming experience.
The device also has 32GB/64GB internal storage options and is further expandable upto 128 gigs with the help of an external SD card.
The company is also providing an unlimited cloud storage with the Billion Capture Plus. Again, this is something which would help the device stand out.
Coming to the display, the Capture + has a 5.5-inch Full HD Display with a 2.5D Glass. There is a Dragontail Protection provided to the display. The company has not tried to make use of any 18:9 gimmick out here and has kept things simple. This fact would be a make or break feat for the device and would solely depend on the buyers’ perspective.
The resolution of the device is 1920×1080 pixels and the screen is an all-angle IPS screen which would ensure better viewing angles.
The device has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. It is running on Android Nougat as of now but the company has promised that the Billion Capture + is definitely going to be updated with Android Oreo in the near future. Coming from a company which has just started out, this is something worth appreciating.
The device is available in two color variants: Mystic Black and Desert Gold. Truth be told, the black variant looks a lot better. Once again, this would be a matter of choice and depending on your taste, you can pick the color.
Billion Capture Plus: final Verdict
There are no bells and whistles when it comes to this device, but the company has tried to cover almost all the essentials here. Latest Android update, a FHD Screen, ample amount of storage, amazing camera setups, and then some. One could simply not expect anything more at this price range. The Billion Capture + is, without any doubts, one of the better Android smartphones available under 10k. You can definitely go for it.
